Quick sketches before bed. My friend got a screen shot of my 15,oooth pageview on DA, so I said I'd draw him something and he wants me to draw his character. These is are drawings of his character, but the one I'm going to make for him is going to be much grander.
I don't feel up to adding colors I don't know if Open Canvas has any line tools, but I don't think I could finish the background with out them. What ever here's the finished thing for a friend's friend (the last pic for a friend's friend >_<):
First sketch: only the description of "it's a raccoon guy." Second sketch: more detail given on the character's personality.
Both created using the Open Canvas 4 trial version, and even though it's not supported on vista, it still works. Though there are lots of glitches but I'm getting to know how to get around them.
I took up a small job as a colorist for a webcomic. Here are two sample pages: The first one is an example of what the comic will normally look like (drawn by Brandon Zuckerman), the second one is drawn by a different artist (Andrew Snook). The second one also had a considerably greater amount of effort put into it. I won't be putting that much work into the comic, because it takes too much time and I lost interest a few times.
